When you attend and participate in an Active Week WV event from our events page snap a picture and share it on your social media using #ActiveWeekWV
Even if you aren’t able to participate in one of the official events listed on our website we hope you’ll still make a conscious effort to get out and get active! The physical activity recommendation for kids is 60 minutes per day and 150 minutes per week for adults (easily broken down to 30 minutes per day, 5 days a week).
Hop on your local rail trail, take your first family float trip of the year, pick up trash in your local park, or participate in one of the awesome events hosted by organizations across the state and promoted on this website.
Whatever you do, get active! And we would love to see you, your family, and friends being active so snap lots of pictures and share them with us.
